UAE IBAN Validator

Check whether a UAE bank account number (IBAN) is valid. UAE IBANs start with AE and are 23 characters long. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.

How IBAN validation works

A UAE IBAN is AE + 2 check digits + a 3-digit bank code + a 16-digit account number (23 characters total). Validity is confirmed with the ISO-7064 MOD-97 checksum: move the first four characters to the end, convert letters to numbers (A=10 … Z=35), and the whole number must leave a remainder of 1 when divided by 97.

Note: a valid checksum means the IBAN is well-formed — it does not confirm the account exists or belongs to a specific person. Always confirm payee details with your bank.
