When is Eid Al Adha 2025 in the UAE?

Public Sector Holidays
The UAE government has announced a four-day public holiday for Eid Al Adha:
- Start: Thursday, June 5, 2025 (Dhul-Hijjah 9)
- End: Sunday, June 8, 2025 (Dhul-Hijjah 12)
- Work Resumes: Monday, June 9, 2025 (Dhul-Hijjah 13)
This applies to all ministries, government entities, and public institutions.
Private Sector Holidays
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that private sector employees will also enjoy a four-day paid holiday from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, in observance of Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha. Regular work will resume on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Public Transport in Dubai
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the following schedules for public transport during Eid Al Adha:
- Dubai Metro (Red and Green Lines): Operating from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day) from Wednesday, June 4 to Saturday, June 7, 2025.
- Dubai Tram: Operating from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day) during the same period.
- Public Buses: Schedules may vary; passengers are advised to check the RTA’s official channels for up-to-date information.
- Intercity Bus Services: Route E100 (Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi) will be suspended from Wednesday, June 4 to Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Free Public Parking in Dubai
Public parking will be free of charge from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, excluding multi-level parking terminals.
