How to Check Your UAE Job Contract Online for Free

Keeping a copy of your job contract is essential for reference and legal protection. If you are employed in the UAE, you are entitled to obtain a digital copy of your employment contract that is issued and attested by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE). Here’s how you can check it online for free, anytime and anywhere.

Why You Need It

Your job contract outlines key employment details such as your salary, working hours, leave entitlements, and termination terms. Having quick access to this document helps you stay informed about your rights and obligations, especially if you don’t always carry a physical copy.

Two Easy Ways to Check

1. Through MoHRE Website

  • Visit mohre.gov.ae
  • Click on ‘Services’ in the menu bar.
  • Choose ‘View Approved Contract’ under the ‘Search by EIDA No.’ option.
  • Enter your Emirates ID number and click ‘Request OTP’.
  • You will receive a one-time password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and click ‘View My Contract’ to see and download your job contract.

2. Through MoHRE App

  • Open the MoHRE app and log in with your UAE Pass.
  • If you don’t have an account, sign up using your contact details and labour card number.
  • Tap on ‘My Dashboard’ and scroll down to find ‘Contract’.
  • You can view or save your contract to your phone.

What to Look For in Your Contract

Ensure the contract includes:

  • Employer and Employee Information: Name, nationality, date of birth
  • Proof of Identity and Qualification: Job title and occupation
  • Work Details: Start date, working hours, rest days, probation period
  • Terms and Benefits: Salary, allowances, leave entitlements, notice period, termination process

Types of Work Contracts in the UAE

According to UAE Labour Law, you might be under one of the following:

  • Full-Time: One employer on a full-time basis
  • Part-Time: Multiple employers with limited hours
  • Temporary: Specific assignment with fixed end date
  • Flexible: Variable hours/days depending on business needs
  • Remote: Work performed outside the office
  • Job Sharing: Tasks shared among multiple employees

By keeping a digital copy of your contract, you stay informed and protected. Whether you’re applying for a new job, resolving a dispute, or checking your benefits, accessing your contract online is a smart move every UAE employee should make.
