UAE residents will soon be able to fly directly to Finland for the first time on Emirates, as the airline launches daily nonstop flights between Dubai and Helsinki from October 1, 2026. The new service marks Emirates‘ first destination in Finland and will become the only year-round direct air connection between the UAE and the Nordic nation, making travel easier for both leisure and business passengers.
The addition strengthens Emirates’ European network while opening a faster route for travellers heading to Finland. It also eliminates the need for stopovers that have traditionally been part of journeys between the UAE and Helsinki.
Emirates Dubai–Helsinki Flight Schedule
| Route | Flight | Frequency | Aircraft | Starts |
| Dubai → Helsinki | EK167 | Daily | Airbus A350 | October 1, 2026 |
| Helsinki → Dubai | EK168 | Daily | Airbus A350 | October 1, 2026 |
According to Emirates, the new route will be operated by its Airbus A350, featuring the airline’s latest cabins, including Premium Economy. Flight EK167 will depart Dubai at 8:45am and arrive in Helsinki at 2:55pm local time. The return flight, EK168, leaves Helsinki at 4:45pm, reaching Dubai at 12:20am the following day.
Why the New Route Matters
The new service offers UAE travellers a quicker and more convenient way to reach Finland without changing flights in another European or Gulf city. For passengers departing from Helsinki, Dubai will also serve as a gateway to Emirates’ extensive global network, with onward connections across Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.

Helsinki is one of Northern Europe’s key aviation hubs, making the new route valuable for tourism, business travel and trade. The year-round service also sets Emirates apart by providing a consistent direct link between the UAE and Finland, unlike seasonal services offered by some airlines.
A Milestone for Emirates
The Helsinki launch marks another step in Emirates’ global expansion and strengthens its presence in Europe. With bookings already open, travellers now have a new nonstop option connecting Dubai and Finland ahead of the inaugural flight on October 1, 2026.
