Etihad Rail has officially opened ticket bookings for its new passenger train service, allowing travellers to book journeys through the company’s official website and mobile application.
Passengers can search available routes, compare fares, select their preferred class, choose seats where available, and receive digital tickets directly through the platform. The service also enables travellers to manage or modify eligible bookings and receive journey updates.
During the introductory phase, passengers can book travel between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, with the first passenger services beginning on June 30, 2026. Additional stations across Dubai, Sharjah and Al Dhafra will be added in later phases as the national passenger rail network expands.
How to book an Etihad Rail ticket
To book a ticket, passengers simply need to visit the official Etihad Rail website or download the Etihad Rail mobile app, select their departure and destination stations, choose a travel date and preferred train, enter passenger details, complete payment, and download their digital ticket.

Etihad Rail also confirmed that station facilities will support modern ticketing systems, including smart gates and ticket vending machines with multiple payment options, making travel more convenient for passengers.
Travellers flying with Etihad Airways can also benefit from the Etihad Rail & Fly service. When available for eligible journeys, the rail segment is included with the flight booking, and train tickets can be downloaded or printed up to 72 hours before departure.
Passengers are advised to book only through the official Etihad Rail website or mobile application to ensure they receive the latest schedules, fares and travel updates.
