As part of the UAE’s 53rd National Day celebrations, four emirates have announced a 50% discount on traffic fines. This initiative aims to help motorists clear their fines and start fresh. Here’s what you need to know:
Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah Police announced a 50% discount on all traffic fines issued before December 1, 2024. The discount period runs from December 1 to December 31, 2024.
Ajman
Ajman Police are offering a 50% discount on fines for violations committed before October 31, 2024. Motorists can benefit from this discount between November 4 and December 15, 2024.
Umm Al Quwain
Umm Al Quwain Police announced a similar 50% discount. The offer is valid from December 1, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
Fujairah
Fujairah Police announced a 50% discount on traffic fines. The discount applies to violations committed before December 1, 2024, and will be available starting December 2, 2024, for a period of 53 days.
This initiative also covers the cancellation of vehicle impoundments and traffic black points. However, the offer is not valid for serious violations.
